Somewhere between borders of art nouveau asthetics of bygone times, fantasies of 1001 forgotten dreams, innovative performance art and burlesque glamour Greta Qamar creates danced pieces of art.

She combines oriental beauty with occidental asthetics and gracile movements and pays tribute to the historical art of Burlesque by  using elaborate costumes with luxury and a sense of the dramatic. Her shows lead into a realm of sensual fantasy – sometimes dark and mysterious, sometimes ethereal with a touch of romance.

Born and living in Berlin – hometown of cabaret and revue shows – Greta has always been influenced by that art and the beautiful and bizarre. After being trained in oriental and tribal bellydance styles she entered the world of Burlesque and made her way to be one of the notorious Burlesque performers in Berlin.

Traumsequenzen und tanzt auf Messers Schneide. Nach dem Studium orientaler und Tribal bellydances styles betrat sie die faszinierende Welt des Burlesque und ist seitdem eine der etablierten Burlesque Künstlerinnen in Berlin.
